Google's Matt Cutts  released video clip clips video clip addressing the old question, can Search engines crawl more than a 100 links on a particular page?

Of course they can. They said so in 2008 and there are a lot of sites with a large number of links on a website that are not penalized by Search engines.

Google said they have no particular idea, but if the wide range of links you have on your website looks junk, then Search engines resources the right to take action.
