Google Image Authorship Adds "Page By"

In early October, we reported Google added authorship to image search. We also reported how confusing it was because the authorship was applied to the author of the story on the page but not the author of the image.

For example, Google showed by this image, that the author was by Juliet Eilperin but the image was not taken by Juliet Eilperin it was by Mark Wilson at Getty Images.

Recently, Google updated the authorship in image search description to specify "Page by" to avoid that confusion:
